It has been a great summer so far! I am enjoying the laziness of the season. My kids are home, no homework! I have been active as the new women's director at my church. We just put on an event called "Stepping Into Your Destiny". It was an amazing event! The women invited friends, we gave prizes for the best shoes. And, the best part was that many women brought a new pair of school shoes for us to give to some children.
My pastor's wife spoke on spending time in the Word, and I spoke on: Take off your shoes, for you are on holy ground.

Very fun and new friendships were made.

Your event sounds wonderful! And 21 pairs of shoes collected for the children who need them! Praise the Lord! God has been good to us at Declaring His Answer Ministries as well. Our Break Through University classes are being viewed by women all over the world. I am about to begin an online Bible Study "Satisfied Woman". If anybody is interested in joining me online for this study, I would love it! We will use my e-book for a guide along with the Bible, of course. Summer has been busy as I have been taking classes at Grace College of Divinity. If all goes well, I will graduate with my bachelors of Divinity in June of 2010. Only 1 1/2 years to go. I am loving my classes but miss having more time for ministering to others. I am much more limited while trying to finish up this degree. I would love to hear what's going on with some more of you these summer months!
